State of New York Public Service Commission - First District ... in the matter of the New York & Portchester Railroad Company : minutes, 1908.

Carbon typescript of minutes, probably incomplete, of hearings conducted by the Public Service Commission, First District, concerning the cessation of work on the New York & Portchester Railroad and evidence that ownership of the company had been acquired by competing railroad companies (July-Aug. 1908). The Portchester line had been acquired by the Millbrook Company which had also acquired the competing New York, Westchester & Boston line. Millbrook was owned, in turn, by the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad. Witnesses include Mace Moulton, Ralph P. Buell, Elwood T. Baker, Charles L. Nagle, and Charles S. Mellen.
